Through my paintings I seek to recreate an atmosphere of tension, which reflects the man's insecurity about their surroundings. Your fears, anxieties, his miserable before the events of life: being constantly attacked but also the aggressor. The implicit and sometimes invisible violence leads to a degenerative process that reveals the pathos of living and existence.
The figures in my paintings are distorted by unbridled passions, faces dehumanized, reduced to the most primitive instincts that stir humanity. Such faces are not faces known thus closing the possibility of being someone in particular. I'm not interested portrait figures only without any identity.
Skinned faces, in which eyes, mouths, noses, factions are deformed and almost disappear. The characters pass through the pictures trying to show a problem of despair and sadness of a tragic loneliness. Human beings are inherently insecure, living a mad panic to feel powerless over our destiny.
Faces hostile, restless, inert, thrown into empty. Being known to be miserable and aware of their condition. The pictures act as self-portraits while describing our deepest anxieties.
Between the bustle of the city inconsequential and the crowds going our lives. Walking distracted increasingly parted discernment. Accumulated bitterness, marginalized, repeating our faces in the cracks of the streets.
